  • When I were new lad ere you had to be a member of the 'Cambridge Fixed' social group in order to post new threads/new replies in existing threads.

What happened to that? Would it be possible to re-establish this please, forum administrators?

    Peas.

You do have to be a member to post on here, there was a problem a while ago, when due to a glitch which has since been sorted, comments from non social group members were posted.
There is however nothing stopping anyone joining the Cambridge Fixed group to post on a thread they feel particularly strongly about.
All the posters on the baker's-brokenbike-scandal had joined the cambridge fixed first. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, non? Cambridge fixed is the 2nd biggest social group , if baker keeps on posting pics of bikes he's crashed we could overtake the trackies .

    Eggs

  • bacon

  • Yeah true everyone is entitled to their opinion, i don't want to ostracize anyone. There were occasions in the past where folk posted in our forum thinking it was something else, meaning confusion. By limiting the Cambridge Forum it would stop this to a point. However I wasn't aware this had been resolved.

I think it's great we get posts from non-cambridge brethren. Adds spice to life innit.

  • Toast.

Joking aside, I'm actually having eggs and bacon for dinner. And no i don't eat eggs and bacon daily!

  • Yeah its all just banter . Give as good as you get
