Tried to catch the (entire) back axle from a car as we undid the spring bolts, luckily the round part trapped my finger not an edge as that would have sliced it off, instead, cue cartoon style finger (about 5mm thick and very very wide) and an X-ray that looked like crazy paving. Nurses squeezed it back into (sort of) shape like plastercine.

Broke my own injunction against riding motorcycles when pissed as "nice" girl at party wanted me to come home with her, but I refused to leave precious motorcycle on Peckham high st over night, cue very very drunken ride in both senses...surprising that I survived either.
