What is the stupidest thing you've ever done?

My top three are:

1. Cutting the power cable of my grandads telly with a pair of steel pliers to see what happened. I nearly killed myself.

2. Eating a litre jar of pickled onions and then puking them all up again.

3. Getting caught shoplifting when all I was stealing was bouncy balls and plastic farm animals.

My top three are:

Coincidentally, mine include ramping up the power supply to your grandad's house at the opportune time, putting rat poison in your pickled onions, dobbing you into to shop security.

Actually, that's more of the funniest things I've done.

off-rockering the wheels on my rollerblades before doing wall rides resulting in a broken ankle is up there along with fiddling with the clips my front panniers at twenty miles an hour

I was once riding down the Black Mountain, Brecon Beacons, at bout 60kph and noticed my bar end cap was loose - Cue me trying whack it back into my drop causing me to hurtle sideways across the road and off down the verge - huge stack - middle of no where - no phone - cracked ribs

I was once on a first date with someone and we were waiting to cross Farringdon Road. There was a big fuck-off lorry waiting in a traffic queue right in front of where we were about to cross. The guy looked at me and said something like 'it's really tempting to run under that' and I said 'it is isn't it' and actually ran under it. I'm pretty sure I would've died if it'd started moving. Moron.

When I was about 8 years old I thought it was a good idea to play football on ice before school. First kick of the game I slipped over and broke my wrist.

That's pretty stupid.

Story of my life.

I've got a top 3.... but there is no way that i can explain or justify them without incurring epic wrath.

Tried standing on the vertical back-section of a park bench and jumping to the vertical back-section of a park bench sitting opposite it.
Broke 3 ribs.

Actually, that's not the most stupid thing I've ever done. By a long shot. But in the interest of self preservation/anonymity and all that it's the stupidest thing I'm going to post on this forum.

Playing on the Train lines as a child, putting pennies on the tracks so they got squashed by the trains.
Very young, very stupid.

In order to work out whether a tall uplighter was screw or bayonet I stuck my finger in to feel .... a split second later I was lying flat on my back on the floor with a racing heart and a spasming arm. Not my greatest hour!

Played a game with my big sister which involved me standing at one end of the hall and her throw darts at me AND in the same year threw a bucket of cold water onto red hot ashes to "hear the pop" ended up in A&E so badly burnt my dad didn't recognise me.. to name just a few...
