No interest, but it's still here. Emphasis on the o.n.o. If you're at all interested, make an offer. It's got to go

Hey nat, lovely frame. What are the wheels you built it up with, I'd love a set of those rims.

Fair point on the photos- they look rubbish. I'll see if I can sort out some better ones.
ASM, cheers- the wheels are just good old open pros, laced to goldtecs. Front is ceramic, rear is cd (I was told the cd would wear off if used as a breaking surface, but the ceramic has lasted intact almost 6 years). As a matter of fact I was looking around for a similar charcoal/ dark grey rim for another bike and mavic's cd finish was the closest thing I could find. Super tough wheelset, thanks to a kiwi who's sadly gone back to NZ.

Nat - thought as much, I actually have a 650c open CD - it's amazing, it doesn't seem to ever get dirty.

5 post nursery thing. Probably a bot.
Hey
Been on a few rides with you good fellas but not shown my face for a while. Now I'm back hawking my tawdry wares so sorry for taking advantage of your hospitality before it goes on ebay. But for those that are in the market for a nice old frame:
Seat Tube: 22 1/4"/ 56.5 cm c-c; 23"/ 58.5 cm c-t
Top Tube: 22"/ 56 cm c-c
Was badged as an Armstrong when I got it but is evidently not their run of the mill 3 speed machines. Had a crimp in the down tube so had it replaced and checked over by the good Barry Witcomb (pre-foney-fication).
531, with the exception of the down tube which I think was replaced with 725 or 753. Nervex lugs. Paint job by colourtech (world championship bands and full lug lining- only badging is an low-key witcomb 'w' on the seat tube).
Fork is drilled (increased the diameter at the rear to accept a modern recessed-nut). Headset included, unbranded number (looks original- not the smoothest but perfectly serviceable, and I will strip and regrease it before sale). You can have a UN52 BB for your troubles too. The fully built up pic is just for show I'm afraid- gives you an idea of the angles. I rode it this summer, so it's not mint. A few small scratches and one slight ding to the top tube but doesn't appear to be structural.
A really nice frame- If I could do it justice with a full retro build and it fitted me properly (I'm way too big for it), had room for another bike etc. etc. I'd be keeping it. Rides as you'd expect for good handbuilt steel. No crazy clearances or angles, but springy and quick turning. Spent a pretty penny on it (one of those ever-vainer vanity project) so would be nice to recover some of my outlay.
I'll start at £250 ono. Viewing can be arranged in London (also I can send much higher res photos by email).
