What time is it? Watches and horology

that is very nice, what strap does it have? leather or metal and is it possible for somebody to have a conversation with you without you feeling your wrist or taking sneaky looks at it :-)

Leather. New but non-Omega strap. I may get a bracelet.
The date wheels are doing the usual F300 wonky datewheel thing (which I knew), so I might send it off to my tuning fork chap if it bothers me. The crown is non-original too, so I'll look at getting that changed, but it's mint otherwise.

I've wanted a Speedsonic for years. It combines my two favourite watches - the Speedmaster and the F300, and it's a chronometer

Whilst expensive it was a complete bargain. I paid about half what it is worth, so I'm even more delighted with it.
