We had a downpour about an hour before the off and then continuous rain throughout. Lots of debris flying up off the road and the off hand camber on the roundabout wasn't doing me much good either. Can't wait for a clear dry day.
Edited to add no chain shippage due to the lovely new Surly Chaintug.
