So I have a MTB crank on my fixed, and I've got an MTB chainring to go on it. Apparently the arms in the chainring are faced to resist force only for pedalling forwards:
The shop I have my bike with has recommended changing the chainring to one made for fixed which is stronger.
But is it actually dangerous using this chainring which is brand new?
