I don't really see the point. It's harder to replace, sure it's quieter but I kinda like the noise my chain makes, and weight savings on a steel bike which is clearly not meant for racing, what's the point? IMO the chainring looks kinda ugly too on the clean frame. I'm sure it works but it seems pointless. And if it saves so much weight why isn't it used on track bikes already? Does it have more flex than a chain, which I can imagine would be annoying.

Needs to lose the spacers and flip the stem, and Schwalbe Stelvio??? Otherwise flawless. You were right, the other two are at least verging on anti.

eddie won't believe in the shaft drive until he's seen somebody doing a 300 yard skid on it.

That bike is at least 100 years older than eddie, so he can feck off.

Carbon fibre bikes, when full of top end components and clearly set up for the pro tour circuit are porn in my book - in a kind of utilitarian bling way.
I was having a bit of a think while watching the Giro yesterday though - the idea behind bike porn for me is the craftsmanship that's gone into a frame; the welds, the detailing, the finish - I'm not sure you can get that on a carbon fibre bike. It kind of hit me when I saw Juan Mauricio Soler's Bianchi - Bianchi were always about heritage, history and craftsmanship. A carbon fibre frame doesn't really do that for me - it's probably been formed in a factory in Taiwan.
Where's the soul in that?
You need some lugged, Italian made carbon with horizontal top tube. Like Erik Zabel's 2008 TDF bike. (repost)

That is one sweet bike. A horizontal top tube on a modern bike like that looks soooo much better than all the slopers. Do they use horizontal top tubes on production model versions?

That doesn't look like a Colnago to me. I'm so used to flourishes and that is pure function.

i love the look of this. get some cargo shifted in style. nice.
there is a motor on there ( 500-watt electric) but that'd make it even more appealing for those who move a lot of stuff around urban areas etc. whatchamacallits... couriers. yes. them. There was one of these parked at work today... porn it ain't. At first glance I thought someone had vandalised a moped.
