@ luckyskull
In my opinion, art doesn't have to be relevant 100 years from now, it just has to be relevant today.

@ummar01
both are important.........to have work that still opens up relevant a dialogue long after the artist is dead is quite an achievement..............and to communicate to the immediate, disregarding longevity is also powerful.........i just don't think the Chapman brothers fall in either category........sensationalists sucking on the teat of sattchi, but thats me, thats art, and thats bikes, each to each own..........the bike is still fucking ugly. -

alan italian frame,http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Italy/alan.htm i believe its anodized aluminium tubing with glued and screwed steel lugs, weighs nothing. in love with this colour and it was an absolute bargain! cant wait for the first ride. Got some lovely details but missing all but one of the original decals.

22 pounds bin plus 4 pounds return on the train. Had a great 15 mile ride through the yorkshire country side on a nice day, to boot, well worth it. Just stapped it on my back without any problems, tempted to sell some of my parts i have lying around to fund a new wheelset for it as not sure about the black + some non anatomical drops

mine ride her bike everyday now, and she's already now an experience cyclists and now able to do says, 12 miles one way without hesitation, last year she find it hard to cycle up the sloped road from Clerkenwell Road to Theobald Road on her Brompton.
there's an entire topic here dedicated to buidling a bike for your missus, can be done on the cheap easily.
why don't you four get a room. big, square and painted white plus 4 chairs and have your discussion there.
you must also all be wearing black.
call it a 'happening' and see if you can win the turner prize.
