;689609']Just how have you been 'vindicated'? We all absolutely agreed that london had plenty of good teams. In that case we've all been vindicated.
We all knew that London could fill 8 spots easily. In the original plan there was the possibility of 8 teams but the truth is that 'What If' came true, more cities are playing polo and are wanting to play competitively and our logistics just can't handle more teams than we already have.
You bitched then and you're still bitching. Bitch. ;)
I love you too Mike.
I meant vindicated in that other people are now realising that there's a very real chance that they may not end up playing which sucks in many ways.
I agree with you that one of our aims was to unite Europe's hardcourt polo players and create an even stonger community.
However, I still think that as we're trying to attract public spectators as well, fpor the purposes of getting polo recognised by the masses, that we should also have been aiming to have the highest standard of polo possible.
Logistically it is difficult to make everyone happy but that's the way of life. I'm not in any way claiming that London has done a poor job of organising the Euros, quite the contrary it's a huge achievement and proves the dedication to the sport by the people who are putting in all of the work.
