fixie inc's new upcoming version of their peacemaker-model will coming only with belt drive!
and there's another small german company, they selling also belt-driven bikes, but i foregt their name.fixie inc will still be overpriced for what they are, with or without the belt.

i love the look of this. get some cargo shifted in style. nice.
there is a motor on there ( 500-watt electric) but that'd make it even more appealing for those who move a lot of stuff around urban areas etc. whatchamacallits... couriers. yes. them. -

definitely, I was a bit surprise that the (for instance) Peacemaker tubing are just 4130, nowt wrong with that, but at £750, you'd be better off getting a custom build one with Reynolds/Columbus tubing,

My brother got those Spinergy Stealth wheels on his Cervelo P2 that he bought last week. I have an equally blurry picture that may be classed as porn by the small number of TT lovers on here.

Carbon fibre bikes, when full of top end components and clearly set up for the pro tour circuit are porn in my book - in a kind of utilitarian bling way.
I was having a bit of a think while watching the Giro yesterday though - the idea behind bike porn for me is the craftsmanship that's gone into a frame; the welds, the detailing, the finish - I'm not sure you can get that on a carbon fibre bike. It kind of hit me when I saw Juan Mauricio Soler's Bianchi - Bianchi were always about heritage, history and craftsmanship. A carbon fibre frame doesn't really do that for me - it's probably been formed in a factory in Taiwan.
Where's the soul in that?

Oh aye, I love pro bikes and TT bikes, it's the amount of branding and associated nonsense on them of late which spoils them. The Cosmic Carbones on the Cannondale look awful.

Is that the actual bike for the Liquigas team?

the paint job on the fuji's disc is wonderful, and on the front tri-spoke too. Nicely done.
Love the hubs on the white bike too, seen them in here before somewhere. -

Do lego have a special interest in advertising to track spectators?
You're doing it wrong.. Look at the facts, assess them and **then **come up with your conclusions as to whether or not we need them.
Besides, I don't think anyone here said that we need them or that belt drive is a 'can't live without' upgrade
