  • Regent's Park to Richmond Park
(quiet. light-traffic route, including detour via Hyde Park)

    http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2817940

    Regent's Park>Baker St>Paddington>across Ladbroke Grove>round S of Shepherd's Bush r'bout>round N of Hammersmith Bridge avoiding r'bout>Hamm Bridge>Barnes>Priory Lane>Richmond Park.

Most of this route is part of the london cycle paths but a few crucial points are NOT signposted. Lena Gardens (crossing Shepherd's Bush road) is crucial (mile 9) as this avoids all the main roads in the area. Miss this road, and you have no other option to use the main roads to cross the tube line (also marked)

Hyde Park isn't marked accurately on this route.
The piece through Barnes goes across a very small park and onto a very small pathway.
Hammersmith Bridge has traffic but it is usually stationary.
