Hm, perhaps some section drift (rough book equivalent to thread drift) is needed: Since when has anything ever stayed on topic anywhere on the forum? Loosen it up?
I love thread drift. To me, one of the best features of the forum is that there's no zealous policing that threads stay 'on topic' but that there's a good sense of freedom and fun in getting into the most obscure diversions. I would think that the book might make an attempt to be reflective of that?
