MKS chain tugs were the first thing I bought when I started riding fixed. I knew dick all about bike mechanics but managed to install one easily enough and not strip the threads on them. Maybe it was a faulty batch? Maybe you're just useless with a spanner?
I think the general concensus on here is that they're good at what they do but they are pretty pointless. Thumb and index finger between rear wheel and seat tube ftw.
