I understood your post perfectly well, you however do not understand how things are sold on here.
Its whoever gets there first, through pm, or 'dibs'.
Neither the seller nor the buyer has any obligation to tell anyone though.
normally the seller updates the list as and when purchases happen, but not always.
Simples.

i understand your point however i have seen so many posts "dibs following pm"
don't you think it does make sense? surely it is not hard [in general] to indicate to other members that you want an item so they don't need to bother....

it is little bit like when making a turn left or right - you not only blinking to a driver ahead but also to others involved:{) - simples - that is my point
