Managed to almost ride into a tree today after deciding to take an off road short cut to an industrial estate that I haven't been down in about 8 years. Was bombing it round saw a branch across the path, swerved to avoid and then tree straight ahead..... a big oh fuck with plenty of breaking and a nice big fat skid, over some roots and back on the trail and cycled straight into the industrial estate.
