Can vegans eat vegan fish? Are plankton eaters vegan?

Can vegans eat vegan fish?
Of course. But then they wouldn't be living a vegan lifestyle any longer. ;)
Are plankton eaters vegan?
It is fairly inapplicable. Veganism is a human ethical stance. Animals can of course in practice refrain from consuming animal parts/products, but it is somewhat unlikely that they'll consciously share the ethical stance. (As we know so little about animal minds, I'm not saying it's impossible.) As plankton-eating whales, for instance, tend not to refrain from consuming animal parts/products to the extent to which plankton is composed of sentient creatures, 'vegan/non-vegan' would be inapplicable here, anyway--unless in some way it was found that they deliberately adopted either ethical attitude (perhaps one day when we understand whale chants, we'll find that they're having arguments about veganism, he, he).Animals have certainly been known not to kill when they could have. They certainly appear to show affection, and we clearly have a lot of things in common with them. But whatever their feelings, thoughts, and motives for action, these are unlikely to amount to an ethical attitude, which requires at least some degree of systematic reasoning, and I don't like anthropomorphising animals, either, in any case.

indeed, how was your bread?....our pretzels were excellent!

I haven't even started on the bread yet. The Brötchen were perfect, loved the Bretzeln (much better than the soul-destroying factory crap that Mainz (where I'm from), of all places, has been spreading around--I remember them before Ditsch's (sic) industrialised and turned them into freeze-dried blow-heatable shit (or whatever you call the procedure) that's about as dry as silica gel and about as edible).

I didn't realise all the fish with their heads sticking out of a stargazey pie were vegan either....
!Nhatt, apologies that was a bit mean spirited of me.. stargazey pie is an old story in Cornwall, made with mackerel heads and tails.. and the clotted cream.. doh what was i thinking.. anyway,
get as much food info as possible. they may not stock much for vegans in village stores or town supermarkets. Penzance does have some good alternative food shops mind.
Make sure you pack plenty of protein and carbs that you can consume for cycling, them hills are killer rides. I have a good friend who lives in St. Ives. He cycles alot when he is not surfing or working.. He knows every road around penzance - st just - st ives. good to have local knowledge if you need it, i can email him if you want.
peace..

I know that st Ives has a famous vegan guest house, not sure if they feed people that don't stay there.
Riding with the ladies tomorrow, we'll know a bit more then. -

I had a Rowes veggy pasty yesterday, was delicious as ever. I am convinced that they cook them at the bottom of the oven and the meat juices from the steak pasties above drip onto them. They maybe the Greggs of Cornwall but they do lovely food.

Cheese and bean pasty, Barnecut Bakery, all over Cornwall! Surfed today, 4 foot cross/off. Got my new charge plug on cycle to work scheme yesterday, Took it for a spin tonight, slightly better than the one I built, but that only cost £20 all up. Why cant you take old bikes from the tip anymore?

Did I mention the wind down here, nothing to do with the pasties, normal journey to work no wind takes 40 mins, tailwind 31 mins, headwind 1 hour! Dont let that deter thee.

I was told that my local tip at St Day had handed over all scrap rights to a local firm. They collect any sellable waste, take it away to their warehouse, clean it, then sell it to the general public. They pay the tip a yearly fee for this privilage. So ends picking up a cheap frame/bike when you are at the tip.

There must be a way of buying stuff from the warehouse, you'd assume that would be pretty cheap. I've never seen this stuff for sale, unless it must end up on ebay or at car boots
