does anyone look at these old threads? I just got some Nitto b123 black anodized track bars with a 25.4 clamp diameter and I want to use it with a 3TTT road stem thats 26.0mm. I know Nitto makes shims for this but everyone I talk to says not to use them! Anyone have experience using these shims? Do they slip? are they safe for general road use (not on the track)? I'm a pretty light rider (as in weight) but I do ride in the drops quite often.
