Brighton bike shop

anyone know of a decent bike shop in Brighton, going there tomorrow.

The only decent thing in Brighton is the train to back to Victoria

Baker street is a very good shop, lewis does not work there anymore, he works round the corner in the specialized shop.

Errr, all the smack'eads I've seen in Brighton are all the same smelly cunts you get in Brixton, they jump the train - I should know I lived there for over 10yrs

We've got Rayments on london road; Baker St. Bikes opposite the big church on London Road; Evans in town; and Freedom Bikes in George Street (I dont think that they are open on Sundays though :( )

Is "Special Bikes" still in Brighton?

special bikes? you mean the kiddies on halfords specials with the forks fitted backwards?

Used to be a shop there apparently by that name. They did costom rebuilds of your frame to exactly what you wanted. One of the things they said though was "we won't do anything on the cheap", which fucked me, cos I didn't have much money at the time. I just wondered if they were still in business.

Just googled... They're in Hove these days. Anyone ever used them, rather than buying an OTP?

I'm not sure if they're focused on building fixed, a friend looked into one (a road bike) and it was much more expensive than an otp or if you built up your own with some help from your lbs and not as satisfying.

They are very nice chaps, but you do pay a premium for the service.
