your all being rather childish, the only reason so many animals are around in africa is because of the game industry. in the impoverished politically unstable lands most of these 'wild' animals would probably be extinct were it not for the fact that rich americans pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to come and shoot stuff.

Its not the ideal situation, but the world isnt perfect.

I don't think it is childish to find all this disgusting.

You could use the same argument (the animals wouldn't be there if not for the hunt) - to argue for the breeding of bears for bear baiting or (and excuse the hyperbole) to breed humans for certain kinds of manual labour - people may find that disgusting too.
