Hey guys, I appreciate the concern. I bought the whole bike to take the parts of for my girlfriends bike, and the intention of then passing on the frame. This is what I have been told by the previous owner: "Hi Gavin
No the forks have never been damaged, This was my Track bike I used for 9yrs to ride track at Kirkby before (Man) velodrome was built they are ultra close clearance to get really steering response. If you are going to be using the Bike for around town I would suggest you fit some cheap steel road forks, they would give your feet more clearance from the wheel when turning sharp. Obviously on the track you do not ned to turn the wheel so much. Takes a bit of getting used to, But so much fun. Good Luck Happy Cycling"
I don't really have any reason to doubt him, he has been very straightforward with me. I will let you guys make your own judgement.
