• Every street within the circle line in London is covered by the Congestion Charge Cameras; that means EVERY street. You can see them everywhere; they're usually placed quite high up on the top of lamposts and they point 4 ways and have black spheres over the top of them, for protection presumably.

    I can't believe that there wasn't one near the scene of the incident. Without knowing the exact location of the incident, it's hard to say.

    This is just speculation but maybe some part of the girl's bike or bag got tangled up with the lorry and then she was dragged under the wheel. Cycling in London, I know how close one ends up getting next to vehicles and how easily this could happen.

    All very sad, nonetheless.
