Hehe, yeah. Although i'm not sure how effective it is with a deep-v. I'd be gutted if i bent that Cooper though.

Dave - i passed you on clerkenwell on monday.
We have the same paint job me thinks (armourtex black, lacquer and sparkles?), albeit your aende looks somewhat more badass than my conversion!!
It comes up a weird ish grey in the sunlight but the sparkles more than make up for it.
Nice bike! -

Started a project for a track bike some months ago.
My current Giant is too small and a need something that fits better.
The Giant is a mixture of "modern" (Giant F&F, seatpost, wheels, pedals, stem, saddle) and classic parts (cranks, bars, ...). Besides that, I have some old parts laying around for decaded.
Since classic track parts are still very competitive, don't wear out quickly and weight is not so much of an issue, I decided to go for a nice classic track bike.
Buying a new track frame or bike would be too easy and less fun. I hope to end up with something really nice. At the good part: the value will only increase during the years.I collected already several parts, besides the stuff I already had.
Still no idea what frame I will use. For sure it must be nice. Can be Italian, but also Dutch or English (Raleigh) is possible. As long as the sizes are correct. At the moment, I seriously consider this frame, but I need to negotiate about the price.
Project can be followed here:

frame looks like an allan?

it does have "alan" written on the seat-tube, well done :)
picked this up tonight.
made from columbus spirit tubing. it's very light. i can't get over how big the top and down tubes are.
yes it is steel not aluminium.
