  • Nice hubs Alex, coloured hubs FTW!

They been taunting me for months in cavendish. Eventually, they won.

  • @dave - looks so good you could FRAME it!

ha, nice... your 'frame' is now rattle can white. Got bored walking about 50 yards up the road, ended up riding with it as a sail, glad i just took the one! Good luck with the travels dude.

  • Alex, I see that you've gone with the 'crumplezone' front wheel!

  • @dave! that looks sick! love the paint, love everything about it!! so sick!

  • Alex, I see that you've gone with the 'crumplezone' front wheel!

Hehe, yeah. Although i'm not sure how effective it is with a deep-v. I'd be gutted if i bent that Cooper though.

  • Nice Alex

NIIIIIIIIIICE Dave - change the Ourys for Champs then BINGO!

  • alex how big is that chainring baby?

  • Dave - i passed you on clerkenwell on monday.
We have the same paint job me thinks (armourtex black, lacquer and sparkles?), albeit your aende looks somewhat more badass than my conversion!!
It comes up a weird ish grey in the sunlight but the sparkles more than make up for it.
    Nice bike!

  • ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

you riding 22 or something on the back? cos I know you aint riding it on tark with them risers

  • Hehe, no i've got a 24 on the back...gives about a 65 inch gear.

  • hebdy, think this ones still the factory paint... but i agree it glows all sorts in the sun, just need a bit more!

Josh...anytime, i wanta try those bars of yours too, think my other bike deserves to step down and be a bit more cruisey now.

  • My new bike, finished, just transfered parts from my old one. Added a few new bits.
fucking love it, such a solid, nice ride.ß

    Really nice Toby.
    Really nice.
Now me, you and marc all have front spinergies.

  • Bernie has a spingery..

  • Started a project for a track bike some months ago.
My current Giant is too small and a need something that fits better.
The Giant is a mixture of "modern" (Giant F&F, seatpost, wheels, pedals, stem, saddle) and classic parts (cranks, bars, ...). Besides that, I have some old parts laying around for decaded.
Since classic track parts are still very competitive, don't wear out quickly and weight is not so much of an issue, I decided to go for a nice classic track bike.
Buying a new track frame or bike would be too easy and less fun. I hope to end up with something really nice. At the good part: the value will only increase during the years.

I collected already several parts, besides the stuff I already had.
Still no idea what frame I will use. For sure it must be nice. Can be Italian, but also Dutch or English (Raleigh) is possible. As long as the sizes are correct.

At the moment, I seriously consider this frame, but I need to negotiate about the price.

    Project can be followed here:

  • got a link to it?? the frame that is
