  • Fair point CV, I s'pose folks could have worried about that with the Forum shirts (airfix etc.) a while back - in reality there's the odd night when you're at a drinks and maybe one or two others have the shirt on, but in a large group it's not that awful. TBH personally I just love well designed t-shirts, especially ones that pay homage to/send up other design classics in a clever and low-key way. I'd want this t-shirt even if they were selling them in urban outfitters. The charge could be brought that we are all buying into a scene, but if we're all actually riding our bikes then it's not just fashion. A bit like when skate shoes got fashionable in the late 90s - all the skaters kept wearing them anyway - surely it would have been sadder for them to stop just to be contrary?

I'm not against socialising, I'm not sure how you got that from my post.

All looking the same may be the desired effect, in the same way as club kits, in which case I'm happy for you. If the point of the shirt is to showcase your individuality then I would have to say that it would be embarrassing if I met someone else with one on.

I've noticed that this forum has a bit of an obsession with memorabilia (T-shirts/key rings and the like) I guess people just like to buy in to the scence.

I'm thinking of making a run of pista sheep tails, pm me if your interested.

Ps. I am not having a go, please take my comments as tongue in cheek, there is a semi-serious point behind them though.
