Damn it, I searched for "threadless bb" (with and without the quotes, in titles and posts... anyway)... Hmmm, bmx... will look into it... I like Rik's welding approach, all else failing I'd be happy to do that! :-)
Camfering with a file (I normally carry one on me too! annoyingly didn't bring it in today) is going to be the next step... have just been playing with it and I thought it wasn't going all the way in...
You are welcome to say I-told-you-so as much as you like... i think I was the one that told you to say I-told-you-so the first time! Have you ever played polo on a loose bb? I managed to cycle in 15 miles this morning on it... polo should be a dodle!
