im only gonna know laterin june/july whether im staying in manc next year but a bike house sounds grand, it would be nice not to get 'looks' from the housemates every time i come in the door with ANOTHER bike and polo mallets etc

Look into it for sure. Renting a big warehouse space between 10 or so people would be fuck all. I'd be up for it. Kinda like the set up fixedgearlondon have. Workshop, living space, party space, space to store bikes. It would indeed be "ace" :)

not including bills, unfortunately city centre parking is at a premium so no allotted space. there are single yellows directly outside and parking bay is free from 6pm to 8am and all day sunday as with most city centre spaces. did have a car here for a while and wasn't too much hassle tbh, just stuck it in the yard of a business round the corner on saturdays

i know a cheap room in a house with 2 mad people and an evil dog and a bunch of stoner teenagers..it's cheap though and they have a sauna...and they are dead nice...but mad..oh, and you have to be vegan...pm me if you're interested though i guess i didn't paint a pretty picture...big garden..

so im getting pretty desperate now, i have 3 weeks to go and all the houses, flats i have tried to buy have been turned down/already sold or falling apart, think im going to rent for another year of maybe 6 months so if anyone has anywhere let me know

I have a room going as a short let in my house as my flatmate is going home to Italy for the summer from the end of the month.

It's a stunning new build 3 bed, 2 bath top floor flat (6th floor)in Hackney wick with a massive south west facing balcony/roof terrace with amazing views of the City and Docklands skylines, 24H security, plenty of storage for bikes, workbench and tools available to use as well. there are four of us in the flat 2 guys and 2 girls, all fixed gear riders except one. we are 3 minutes from Victoria park, and next to the new Olympic stadium. The room itself is a good size with a double bed, and stays cool in the summer heat. We are looking for someone clean, respectful of others' space and with a good command of the english language.

the only bad news: It's a bit far out and not very well connected for public transport although you can get the overground line from Hackney Wick station, or DLR from Pudding Mill Lane and there are some buses, 276 and 488. For those who cycle it's perfect though, which is why I thought I'd put it on here- that, and I don't want to live with some complete random who just fell out of the Gum tree.

It's 475 per month fully inclusive, payable in advance. We have a Dishwasher, Freeview, 8MB Broadband, a washer dryer, etc. PM me if you want more info...
