Ah... thought it would be one of those things that the people who can help would understand...
Basically striped the threads on my raleigh polo bike. Got a threadless bottom bracket (ie it screws into itself rather than the bb shell)... except pretty much as soon as I start peddelling it starts to come out... I'm going to spend my lunch break tightenning it (with a hammer!) in the hope that it sticks... but I don't hold much hope...
was just thinking maybe some plumbers tape might help it to stick?
