Yesterday, at a funeral I met Gene Mangan, the first Irishman to win the FBD Rás and the only one to win 4 back to back stages!! He's 72 now and still cycles everyday and he has 35 bikes all over his house!! Next month (not sure of exact date) there's going to be an exhibition of some of his bikes here in Kilcullen (my home town). I'll check it out when it opens and see if it's worth the trip and maybe it would be a nice Saturday/ Sunday cycle!

Did anyone spot my spectacular crash in Rathmines on Saturday? Took the wing mirror off a brand new sclass and have the biggest gash I have ever seen in my life on my leg. I probably should have got stiches.

Also saw that fellow on the affinity low pro ish frame with the puple velocitys it doesnt have a 650 front wheel does it>?

Just the regular ones man, there is a new extra deep one coming out though that's "fixie" specific and bombproof, called the B43
