• Hope you don't mind me posting this but this Thursday 7th May will be 3 months since Eilidh's fatal crash.

It's incredibly frustrating that the police have no witnesses, no CCTV, and no idea what happened.

So we're trying to find out what happened.

Help us spread the appeal for witnesses:

If you fancy changing your Facebook status to:
''is appealing for witnesses to the crash that killed Eilidh Cairns in Notting Hill Gate as she cycled to work, Thurs 5 Feb 2009. Can you help us?''
    with link: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=83011272326

    And Twitter:
... is appealing for witnesses to the crash that killed Eilidh Cairns in Notting Hill Gate on 5 Feb.
    Can you help us? http://www.facebook.com/l/;http://tiny.cc/1h6xU

(ask your friends to do the same, hopefully it'll put the word about)

ALSO -- We're doing a roadside appeal at Notting Hill Gate (opp the Tesco's) Thursday morning (7th May) at 8.30-9.30
Handing out leaflets and jogging people’s memory. We still don’t know what happened.

Anyone who wants to get involved can or if you're just cycling past come and say hi!

Along with this roadside appeal we are producing a video to appeal for witnesses, and to tell Eilidh’s story.

The piece features a mix of high profile political figures. It will be cut to send to TV broadcasters and local cinemas in the hope that it will encourage eye witnesses to come forward with vital information. The real aim for us is to reach those who may have witnessed the accident but have decided not to come forward.

So far these people have spoken out on behalf on Eilidh and feature in the footage:

    • Kulveer Ranger –Boris’ Johnson’s Director of Transport Policy - GLA
    • Nick Ross – Former Crime Watch presenter and Chair of London Accident Prevention Council
    • Miss Dynamite – Singer Songwriter.
    • Jo Oakley – Head of Collision Investigation Metropolitan Police Service
    • Jenny Jones – London Assembly Member Green Group
    • Alan Beith – MP
    • Cynthia Barlow – Chair of Roadpeace
    • Avi Silverman – FIA Foundation
    • Buffalo Bill – Editor of Moving Target
    • Professor Karim Brohi – (TIGER) Chair of Trauma Sciences at Barts and the London Medical School and the Royal London Trauma Clinical Academic Unit.
    • Ross Davenport – (TIGER) Senior Researcher at Barts
    • John Smithson - Chairman and Cheif Creative Director, Darlow Smithson

    Thank you
    Giles & Kate xxx
