I've put the wheels back on to show clearances. but this is frame fork and headset only

    62cm centre-top seattube.

    60cm centre to centre

57 centre to centre top tube.

campag dropouts and i'm leaving the dura ace headset thats in it.

some marks and light rust could tidy up very well.

  • Hey, interested in the wheelset but have a few q's. . .

    1. What spacing is the rear hub? and what block/gears were on it?
    2. Has it been dished for single speed? it looks from the pics of the wheels on the bike that it is running a single speed on it?
    3. clinchers or tubs?

i'm after some wheels for my Carlton which originally I wanted to put 27's on but finding it difficult to get some nice/light wheels. As i'm new to the game I don't know how much these should cost so I a) don't want to insult you by offering a stupidly low price, or b) offer way over the odds!

so any idea of a ballpark figure?

    Cheers, Steve

  • lets have a look at that rear mech, i might be interested if the price is right ;) damn you for having such a big frame :) its nice if you split the wheels im interested in the front possibly! :D

    Thanks
    (excuse the smileys im immature)

  • sent you a PM

  • Right should of checked the spacing and the cassette which i didn't so will do that tonight. the Wheels that are on the bike are a different set that are a fixed maillard hub on mavic rims (not for sale) the campag are road specific and are dished to take a cassette.

I will endeavour to answer all your questions this evening once i have had a proper look at the wheelset. And i won't split them as they are far to nice to do that.

I'll send you a few pics tonight once I'm back from work.

    Pm me your email address.

  • Very interested in the wheels if the rear could be converted to ss freewheel. Any advice? Thanks.

  • i'm also interested in the wheels and will come back another day to see if they're still available.

  • Yes the wheels could be converted for a freewheel its a screw on hub so shouldnt be a problem. Would just need to be re dished for a freewheel.

  • I can supply more photos for those that require them. Pm me your emails and i will fire some over tonight.

    Unkle.
