Lots of bikes are sub-10kg, don't fold in half and don't look like they were born sitting on a reactor at Chernobyl.

or even sub-3kg!

goregous, but I just want to level that saddle and put more tape on there and throw those red plugs away.

What are those things wedged in between the tyres and frame?

i dont like the way those basket bars put all the weight on the stem. stems are not desinged to take that much weight, and the ribbed interface surely isnt going to be enough to hold the whole weight of a full basket.
gonna have to disagree with you here, how much weight do you think is on a stem when you are standing up honking up a hill grunting???
all your weight
@jammy, those are brakes.

I think we are all going to be thinking the same thing on this one. In an effort to save 200g they might have reverted to 'on tyre' braking. Simple pull up on one end of the lever and the other digs into the Dugast tubular they have used to save the other 200g.

I think that's the first ever folder I've ever liked.

I've gotta be honest with you... you guys are totally slipping on the amount of chaff that slips through and makes it up here. This thread used to be full of class, now its moving toward picking up every gimmicky-whore that comes strolling down the avenue.
That said clearly you're entitled to enjoy plastic surgery if you want to... but at this rate I'm going to have to move on to another country's bikeporn.
To be fair: much of it is intriguing... but I don't think that makes it porn-worthy.

There'll always be a couple of poppycock every now and then in the bike porn topic, don't get your y-front in a knot over it, have you read the entire topic mate? it's worth going through all 286 pages!

ha!
y-front in a knock

If you knew me you'd know I was laughing my ass off writing that. I'm a sick, sick man.
Anyway, you're right I suppose... the Luxtech and the stridas et al in the course of two days was a little hard to take; but even on this page there're some tasty bits to balance it out.
And believe me, I know how much worse it could be...

repost?
Thats pretty cool, can't say I'm a fan of the trispokes and the space age looks but the innovation is pretty sweet. I think it'd be preferable in 16" wheels though as that thing (whilst thin) was still pretty big when folded (obviously not as good for long distances but who does long distances on a folder?).
It'll be really bloody expensive too.

**$2,250.00
**Not quite as expensive as I thought but by no means cheap.

(T_M's gonna hate this)
That's why Strida's are good, they're cheap, they work, and aren't horrible to ride (just pretty slow). The early ones with drum brake of course are shit.
-
• #14247
That one is amazing.
Whose bike is it? -
• #14248
It is lovely.
I'm not suggesting the Stridas, etc aren't fun to ride, I'm just moaning and groaning about their inclusion in the porn thread. The Mode is also 32 pounds... which isn't horrible, but it isn't light either.
