What would you do if the forum had a subscription fee (to post classifieds, etc)?

i dont' know if this has been suggested before in the other discussion,

but maybe make the classifieds and shopping thread visible only to paying members,
then the 'regular' members can't snap up the deals!

It has already been sugested but it would narrow down the amount of potential buyers. I think if people want to post a wanted or for sale then they should pay the fee. £3 is nothing for what this forum has to offer.
