My friend used good old Nitromors and then found a buffing attatchment for a drill which he used on the frame, it took him about 3 hours to get it practically a mirror finish. This was 3 months ago and it's still shiny, as stated, hairline scratches do happen but can only be noticed from less than a foot away.
