size of what, the axle diameter? I reckon that's just a standard size.

Probably M10 and 15mm ATF. Whatever you do, don't do anything crazy like taking the wheel down there to check. That would be nuts. Ha. Literally.

I tried a Campag Track nut on it, and that didn't work, the axle was larger and or398 I will be taking my wheel down to the shop to check unless I can get help from here :-)

I think you're screwed.

those hubs have 10mm axles.
so standard track nuts should do it. -

As a general rule, rear are m10. Front are either M10, M9 or M8.
So you might be trying a M9 front campag nut, thats why it won't fit.

Aren't axles imperial i.e. 3/8ths (9.5mm) , also thread pitch might be a problem. I've had this problem a few times before. And it's normally solved by a bit of brute strength, winding the nut onto the axle a 1/2 a turn at a time basically re-cutting the thread in the nut. Alternatively, to loose some weight you could just cut your axles flush with the existing bolts.

Just rebuilt a wheel using this rear hub
