Thanks Skully, I'm going on the fact that the rear dropouts are not identical. The one which would have a hanger has a small potrusion (~2mm), where the hanger would come from, as if it has been sawn off, but not actually filed all the way back do the dropout. Before the respray, a visual inspection appeared to confirm this.
the flickr page has a similar bike. the headbadge is the same, they stopped using that one in 1963. I know my bike is before then. I realy want to know what model it is...
It's got loads of braze on's, cable guides for rear brakes on the toptue, front and rear brake drillings, cable guide on the bb shell, shifter mount and pump mounts on the diagonal tube...
