Sustrans are a decent enough charity. I don't use the routes that they set up much but think that they are useful to help the less confident cyclist get out and about. Certainly things like their safe routes to school campaign was a good idea.
What sort of focus would you like your chosen charity to have? (Campaigning on rights, practical support for cyclists, social activities etc)
