Ok, I have a frame manufactured by F.H. Grubb. Original headbadge is present, so I know it is pre 1963. It has Nervex lugs, the catalogue (I don't know the date) is here: Flickr Photo Download: nervex p.17
The guy who uploaded that catalogue (found via google) thinks it is ~1958, which is what I thought (1957) but I don't know what model the bike was...
I would be very interested if anyone has any knowledge on this, or, knows someone who does, to help me identify the frame model and year... the serial number is 14400. This is stamped on the bb shell (along with NERVEX) and on the steerer tube on the forks.
I am not restoring the frame, the deralieur hanger has been filed off, so, I'm doing a fixed.
