My only wish it that it was easier to find places like this.
Just on Friday I watched a documentary at the Prince Charles cinema about the Junior Eurovision Song Contest - literally the funniest thing I have seen in years, yet I went totally on the last minute. To think I nearly didn't watch such a good, obscure film is a tradegy. To not find places like the Bike Whisperer is also a tradegy! I also find this problem particularly pronounced in london - so many cool little places, but they need to be found....
Out of interest what is the other bike shop on your homepage?
I found Bike Whisperer when at a local hair dressers and talking about cycling he mentions some guy up the road who works from his house. I take their card and ask them about something or other. Now I hassle them all the time. I just love that they're bike geeks too :)
I mentioned to them their website needs some tweaking and told them to get their business on google maps because at the moment "ealing bike shops" doesn't bring them up. Scherrit reckons he's been mega busy so maybe he doesn't need the extra business?
The other shop is Croydon Cycleworks. If I was to return to Melbourne I'd head straight there to give Mick shit buy my bike stuff.
