im having great difficulty finding anything in shops in my size for my budget. trying bikes out is a fairly good indication, but obviously they arnt set up for me so there is room for some error.
there arnt any more allez's in 58/61 in the uk as they are bringing out the 2010 model soon, which seem ridiculous when its only may. there is some on the net however. i do really like the allez, the handling is really sharp, it feels really comfortable, and it always feels like it could go a bit faster.
had a go on a orbea, but didnt like the feel of the ride. it didnt have the same climbing feeling that the allez of defy has.
i can get is the giant defy 2.5. im not too sure if i like the defy very much. it rides nice but nothing about it excites me. its functional but doesnt have that somthing extra.
i tried one of these bianchis today http://www.evanscycles.com/products/bianchi/nirone-7-sora-2009-road-bike-ec016954
it was a complete blast to ride, but it only comes with sora componants for my price range, and i have no idea what the quality of the prowheel compact chainset is. loved the ride of it, best of the bikes ive ridden.
am i getting to hung up over the componants? is sora really bad?
i want to go to a big shop and try a whole bunch of bikes, which shop in london has the biggest selection of brands and bikes?
