Holy crap what an amazing day. Really good fun riding with Corny, Pip, Katt(h)t(fu), Dropout et al.
On the plus side, it was discovered that I have the most Pirate-y forum name of all time and that Dropout will be joining the Willesden CTC group. Next year, we need to go over the top on the pirate theme. It was also agreed that the term "pancake flat" is now verboten when describing long rides.
Apologies for bailing I had another grueling 6 miles back to the ferry and despite leaving the pub at 6pm, I still didn't get home until 10pm (after leaving the house at 5am).
