    You've just shown examples of the very thing you're asking if it's possible to achieve!

    Frame shapes don't have to have a direct effect on frame angles and TT length etc...and it's those that determine the ride quality...not how much the top tube slopes forwards or backwards.
    You can take the rear of the top tube right up to the saddle and it won't affect the head or seat angle.

    There's almost nothing that hasn't been tried in the bike world, so when you ask if something as minor as a slightly sloping top tube is possible and someone with 20,000+ posts says no.....you may want to question how serious they're being. :)

    It's like Tynans hilarious 'buy extra spoke holes' posts all over again! :)
