  • My front wheel is always locked to the frame and post. Rear would be easier to nick.

  • I've bought a pair of these.

Not riding yet as I'm tubless and plan to only use them on the track. The quality is proper dead good.

  • how much?

  • Sorry for this question, but what's the difference between tubular and clincher?

Clincher is a normal tyre, tubular is a world of pain.

Some people - who know what they are doing - get on just fine with tubulars, but they are harder to repair, harder to find, generally harder to use. 99.99% of people you see riding bikes around London are riding with clinchers - for a reason.

Conclusion: whatever wheel you buy, get one that takes clinchers.

  • @dovoneil

    Nice !

How much does one of those weigh ?

  • 8

    £8 ;-)

  • Website says 1.6k, in the hand they feel the same as my Aksiums which are apparently heavier

  • There is this wonderful new invention called t'ebay. Especially t'ebay in US of A. I brought a pair of trispokes for 300 of the American dorrars last year. There seems a plentiful supply of cheapo trispokes over there - Specialised Trispokes are near identical to HED3s. New sealed bearings from HED are 20 quid. Cheap enough to put on your beater.....

when you selling me your glow in the dark front? =)

  • Just been to BLB and got my hands on an Aerospoke. Yes they are a little heavy, but they do look nice. £255 unpainted and £305 painted. Problem is I can get a brand new Phil hub laced on Velocity rims for less. Still fancy the aerospoke though.
