  • so is that bad news? is it fixable

  • well the Conus Medullaris appears normal which, obviously, is a relief.....!

To be honest at the moment i don't know.... i need to be referred to a specialist... my Dr cheerily informed me that i'll need some surgery, sometime, almost without doubt.... but nothing actually hurts THAT much at the mo', but i think the potential to hurt a LOT... is there if i fuck it up much more.....

  • you know the vans half cab you have, are they the "croc" ones or the suede ones, i remember yours being good but looked at some suede ones 2day and they wernt that nice?
(sorry to take attention away from your back)

  • yes finally we get down to the nitty gritty, adam's half cabs. Fuck the schmorl nodes and the thoraco-lumbar junction, what finish are your cabs?

  • ad here's the advice you'd get from a: drink water do some exercise.

    pilates?

  • Can I have your bikes? And maybe your cameras too? Before you snuff it, like...

  • In a vaguely related post, the more and more I cycle the more I'm hurting. My lower right back, my right shoulder and my wrists/palms (no jokes) are fucking hurting. Whilst I don't have the dollars to get all hooked up and monitored or something, does anyone know where I could go for a decent look over for Bike fit? Nothing serious, but just some pointers.

I think I need to pull my stem back, but I'd rather someone with some experience helped me out, I don't want to make anything worse, I'm really appreciating my health at the moment.

  • there are some pretty good online ones that go into alot of detail, stem length etc, i would just stick a higher shorter stem on with riser bars for abit, see if that helps

  • i had the same problem morgan. when i was out for longer rides, 50-60 miles my palms would kill. tried loads of different things, shorter stem, longer stem, higher stem, risers, drops etc.

i found a longer stem sorted me out, maybe try that?

  • I guess I'll try a couple of things, but when I'm back in Bath I'll get Johns Bikes to look me over. They do serious roadie shit so I'm sure they'll give me some decent advice.

  • You got your MRI results quick. New boy here, but I'm still waiting for mine - 4-5 weeks - damage caused by an 'interaction' with a car nearly 6 months ago.....
