My mate's on the cover of Banzai this month driving someone's RX8 with a triple rotor engine in it. Triple rotors sound like angry bees, it's brilliant.

if you love the 599 GTB like me, then this is the next step up...very limited #'s will be made...599XX
700bhp @ a whopping 9000 RPM!... can you imagine that?? ..the bodywork... its all about carbon! .... fitted with 19inch racing slicks..better then the FXX?

It does look epic but it really is the height of extravagance...
It's a car that you can't drive on the road because it's not road legal...
You can't drive it on the track because it's not homologated to any race series...
You can only drive it when Ferrari says you can because they want to use it to collect data for developing their cars in the future...
Then to top it all off it costs €1.1 million... for a car you can't really drive...
Buy this instead...

Or if you want to go racing...

@ E... you're always trying to push those pesky Porsche's! pfftt...
even if I had a cool mill to spend on a car I wouldnt buy the 599XX...Id rather the One-77.... actually, Id never spend anything like that on a car no matter how fabulous it was... you can spend a shite load less for a very good comparable car

@ E.. you had to add 3 Porsche's didnt you! ;)
admittedly... the Carrera GT is a beast to drive but if I was watching the purse strings Id take this...
always had a soft spot for the Maserati
-

Feck off, there's always room for a nice big off-roader and what else would you get?? Get an X5 and you look like a scumbag builder, Porsche Cayenne is, even I'll admit, ugly, VW Touareg is boring, Volvo is even more boring, Jeep are shite... That leaves you with two choices... Range Rover or
Unfortunately I'm not a professional rap-maker however...

I think from memory the range rover sport has around 520 bhp?...quite a beast for a big tank
-
• #3317
And the GelandeWagen is bloody terrible.
Range Rover all the way. Brilliant vehicles.Although my personal choice would be the original 3 door - a CSK would be nice.

Fair enough, personally I don't see the use of a nice big off roader, if I was getting an offroader, it'd be for driving up mountains or something like that, either get an old Jeep, or just go for the standard Japanese 4x4 like a Pajero or something, or if I was feeling a little extravagant, maybe a nice Wildcat =P
-
• #3319
Yeah the Maserati is lovely, I just couldn't say no to a Carrera GT though :)
One of these for sale at the moment near me... it's no Porsche but I'd be very tempted...
Pocket M-Series anyone?

But the Range Rover is for getting up mountains. It would get up those mountains far better than any Jeep or Japanese Off Roader, and in considerably more comfort. It is the best 4x4xFar after all. And the best looking.

If you actually want offroad ability I can guarantee you there's nothing will come close to ANY Land Rover offering!! They're unstoppable
Also why would you want to subject yourself to cheap Japanese plastic and stupid devices to tell you whether or not you're upside down when you can have Connolly Hide and Cherry dashboards...

My old flat mate used to have one of these before he actually got a M3.... Tosser !!! Well he used to let me drive it and they are fooking great fun !!!!

Great noise too, I'd have the complement of old Mini Cooper S Works and new MINI Cooper S Works to choose from ;)

a friend had the AR6 Range Rover,it was great for trekking the Colorado mountains...throw the snowboards in the back..plenty of room, luxury comfort and lots of power ... not much of a street driver but was right at home in the rockies
It looks alright from the front, especially with those wheels taking all the attention, from the rear it reminds me of something, can't figure out what it is though, that diffuser helps a little though =P
