Ok so I've ordered 2 caps to see if they're gonna work.
Ordering over the site gets expensive as they add extra VAT and postage is super expensive.

I've spoken to them over the phone and confirmed they are flat ended.
They'll be here in 2-3 days.

If good I'll put an order in.
I've been quoted £67 inc postage for 50.
£1.34 each.

First 2 caps have arrived:

They're very solid. 6mm walls.

I'm concerned they might be a bit big for the pipe gabes bought as they're best suited to pipe of the same thickness.
Does anyone have any of the ABS pipe they could measure?
Need the outside diameter. Vidal?
(gabes is away and I haven't seen the pipe yet)

I'm not ordering unless they're suitable.

Walls 6mm
Inside Diameter 48.5mm
Outside Diameter 60mm
Depth 36mm

If good I'll be ordering by the end of today so get your orders listed.

Not sure how easy they'll be to screw on so might need to be glued...

the outside diameter of ABS pipe doesn't change depending on wall thickness - the inside diameter does.

So it looks like the caps should fit fine. Still worth checking with an actual piece to make double sure they fit before doing the full order though.
