Firstly let me say I'm not medical.
But I'd guess it's a back problem.
I had a similar part of me go numb and from my understanding / research, I think I pinched a nerve in my vertabrea.... numbness went after about 2/3 months.
I did in my research find that I was probably riding with my back badly arched, so have also changed riding position, but think the pinched nerve would have grown back anyway...
Er or gremlins...
