oo the N attack last night on hipster cross roads
oo dude who lives with N attack this morning (pifko?)That's picco Ray. Working (sitting around drinking tea) for Pink at the moment.
Nhatt in her living room the other night. Hope the new job is going nicely?
Robofoxx the other day, nice to see you too.
Tomasito in exactly the same spot as I saw Robofoxx. Lovely ride, man! Have fun in Devon.
Bumped into Wigan and his pal Ed the other day when taking the Lemon & Lime out for it's first test ride. Then happened to sell something on eBay, was collected at my gaff by the very same Ed. Not sure if he's on this forum? Weird how that sort of thing happens.

^ err bit too specific on location of unsafe locked bikes mate
On a similar note I spotted some nice bikes locked in dodgy places on my way in before 8am this morning.
If you have a green Bob Jackson with a TT protector in SE or a lo-pro with arrospok in Islington you are braver than most!

Great to see you Skully - those bikes sure did look pretty side by side! Where did you get your lovely mudguards?

Done - sorry yes that was too specific, not really awake today. It has only appeared recently and does look new and would just need one t-leaf to be walking past. I might make some enquiries locally as I know a few of the business in the row of shops in question so might be able to speak to the owner.

Navy bike with stickers and a white tyre? I spotted you, even if you're thinking of someone else.
See you around, especially with your choice of leg wear.
that was me! i knew those gleaming leggings would get me spotted! hah. were you on the blue bike with the white rims? i was kind of behind you most of the way, but having severe traffic navigation fail this morning. hehe. hopefully i'll be a bit more awake next time!
spotted shinscar twice! last night on old ford rd for a chat, this morning as he smiled serenely in the sunshine on bethnal green rd. morning!

just seen this Thomas... they're Salmon Super Profil, the ones I'm always banging on about, painted when i got the frame done. They're pretty damn narrow!
Also spotted this morning in Bethnal Green: Geezer coming out of flat on Gossett Street, watched you razzing along the pavement on a yellow coversion with double spinergys (single speed), you're a neighbour of mine. Pretty blinging bike really, if not to my taste. Have you not heard about exploding spinergys?! Rather you than me.
Also spotted: Untold numbers of people with geared bikes trying to 'trackstand' at lights. I get the feeling they don't even realise that it's done my having a fixed drivetrain, not by slowly creeping forward a bit, wobbling, and backpedalling your freewheel a bit, and slowly creeping forward a bit, and wobbling ...

That's not a 'trackstand', then, I'd say, by virtue of not being performed on a track bike.
I don't think there's a word for it--'roadstand'? ;)
The effect is similar, of course.

you can trackstand a geared bike on a cambered road easy.

• #14042
Only gimps do it though

You always get the feeling the people on road bikes wonder what the fuck you're doing when you casually sit there, balancing magically, both feet still clipped in.
If that's your red SE Draft locked up in N1 on a big main road (you know where I mean) I know it's not an expensive bike, but it looks quite nice - get a better lock!
