  • there's no need to break a chain to work with a wheel in the front of track ends. All you have to do is derail the chain from a tooth or two of the chainring, turn the crank, and the chain will come off the chainring and you have all the slack you need. The opposite process is used to remount the wheel.

    Your chain's too slack then! I should know - I'm guilty of using this method. :p
