For Sale: Dave Russell 25in, Holdsworth Monsoon 23in and some good parts

Hi everyone,

Some more nice goodies for sale. The items are all in Bristol - I will be at Herne Hill on Saturday and meet up there Saturday morning. Otherwise I can ship frames or post parts very easily. Frames cost £14 to ship within the UK by DHL.

DAVE RUSSELL ROAD FRAME 25in c1980
Seat Tube (ctt): 25in
Top Tube (ctc): 23in
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 DB
Frame number: 1683
This is a very nicely detailed road frame built by Dave Russell (who died last year) from the end of the 70s/beginning of the 80s. It is in very sound condition - some would build it up as it is but most I think would want to refinish it. There are no dents or other damage. Clearances are pretty much standard 700C/sprint (taking a brake with a 45mm drop on 700C/sprint). It would convert quite easily to a fixie with the Campag horizontal dropouts.

HOLDSWORTH MONSOON FRAME 23in c1960 Lovely fancy lugs
Seat Tube (ctt): 23in
Top Tube (ctc): 23in
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 DB
This a lateish Holdsworth Monsoon with slightly more fancy lugs and is much rarer than the standard Monsoon. There is no fork with this frame but I do have a picture of what the fork looks like ( I had one of these frames several years ago for sale). The frame is very sound and just needs repainting. Decals are available from http://www.hlloydcycles.com/ I can deliver it free of charge for the successful bidder to Argos Cycles who I consider to be one of the best frame painters in the UK. Details on Argos’ prices can be found at http://www.argoscycles.com/renovation-pricelist.htm They could also build a suitable fork for it. It would convert quite easily to a fixie with the long horizontal dropouts.

CAMPAGNOLO RECORD LARGE FLANGE HUBS 32H 126mm 1970s
Offered for sale are an excellent pair of 32H Campagnolo large flange hubs from the 1970s and which are 126mm OLD. They have straight skewers. £55

Offered for sale are a very good pair of 36H Campagnolo small flange hubs from the 1970s and which are 130mm OLD. They have straight skewers. £35.

They are super rare and i have only seen pictures never one in the flesh and Hilary had a used one! If only i had the spare cash!

An hour ago someone paid half that for a standard chromed steel Cinelli Pista stem.
