So ......... the Giant Bowery. It's OK. A little heavy. The ride is a little dull. The bottom brackets creak as they weren't greased and the 3/32 running gear lacks rigidity. Otherwise it is OK. That was what I thought until I had the fortune to ride a pimped version. Miche Pistard wheelset, Dura-ace 1/8 drivetrain, Easton OS carbon bars, Easton carbon seatpin and a killer set of Look HSC5 SL carbon forks. Now the old workhorse Bowery wills you to rip down the street its really good fun to ride. Most importantly is shows that the frame is actually pretty good and a worthy potential project bike.
